I attended the “Elvis 80th Birthday Celebration” at Memphis Mansion (a replica of Elvis Presley’s Graceland mansion, built on the outskirts of Randers in central Jutland, Denmark). At the mansion, a huge party were thrown for the King. Here’s a couple of die hard fans from some of the ten countries that attended the event …
The Graceland Randers mansion serves as an Elvis Museum, a diner and a souvenir and memorabilia shop …
Knudsen’s devotion delivered a birthday treat for all the attending fans – a meet and greet with four of Presley’s friends and associates: Guitarist James Burton and pianist Glen D. Hardin of the TCB Band (Elvis’ backing musicians on recordings and in concerts during the 1970s), Terry Blackwood (one of the King’s backup singers from The Imperials Quartet) and Charles Stone (Elvis’ tour producer from 1970-1977).

Graceland Randers draws almost 120,000 visitors a year.
